I worked a football game last nite at the high school and have a basketball game Thursday nite here at Hayes Lewis. I am also on bus duty, which puts me getting up at 4:30-4:35 and staying at school until 3:40. I am killed. If Friday doesn’t hurry, I don’t know what I’ll do. Chan is tired too. He can barely keep his eyes open this morning.
He has been sitting by this little, pretty girl on the bleachers of the morning. He will rub her back, play with her pony tail, and keep his arm around her. She doesn’t seem to mind. It’s so sweet. She just sits there and talks to him with his arm around either her neck/shoulders or waist. –first love-

I know he is the sweetest thing ever! Saturday night when he crawled under the blanket with me on the couch and laid his head over on my lap, Zac and I were talking to him and asking him questions about school. “Do you like school?” we asked. “No,” was his weary reply. “Do you have a girlfriend yet?” “Yes,” he stated with the same resigned tone. I don’t remember the third question, but his answer was, “I am too tired to talk about school,” and with that the conversation was over. IT was too funny, but also sad.
I remember bus duty and long hard days. I never had to work ballgames, but of course always went. Hang in! Friday will come before you know it!! I love you, Sis!
I asked him how was school and he said “fine, but I don’t like it.” and I asked him what he had done to have to sit out at recess, and he said “talked out” and that he did that a lot. I think those were the only two questions I got an answer to. Well, Chase likes school this semester. I think it is because he doesn’t have a lot of rules or classes! He only goes 2 days a week.
